Hi,

I am facing a problem wherein I have to detect that if Eclipse 2.1.x is
running or not. I came to know that eclipse creates a ".lock" file in the
active workspace. Now the problem is that how to detect on which workspace
is eclipse running.

Is there any way in which one can detect by code that if eclipse is running
or not?

Please provide some resources/links regarding this.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards,

Ravi

I think this is a problem you'll have to live with for a while, since in
certain contexts, "platform" and "foundation" mean the same thing :-)

This problem will remain permanently.
