MoDisco installation for UML reverse engineering [message #1479435] Wed, 19 November 2014 07:28 Go to next message

Hello all!

I want to generate UML diagrams from my Java classes. What MoDisco modules should I install? I really don't want to install the whole MoDisco stuff, if evitable.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

By default (i.e. using the releases update sites or the specific interface from the Modeling bundle), you will get the full MoDisco SDK including the provided UML reverse engineering support from Java source code (via KDM).
Note that this is not "polluting" in any way your Eclipse workbench with menus or views you don't want to use or see.

If you want to only install a subset of these plugins, I encourage you to take a deeper look the project documentation in order to identify the plugins you actually need.
