"New model element" dialog shows wrong elements [message #1456666] Thu, 30 October 2014 11:46 Go to next message

Hello!

I'm trying to generate UI for my custom EMF model.

When I run the application and try to add model elemens, I see a dialog with some sample model elements instead of mine.

index.php/fa/19716/0/

index.php/fa/19717/0/

How can I modify it so that it shows my model elements only?

Thanks

Dmitri

Hi,

have you made sure your model bundle and the edit bundle is in the run
config? If so, it should appear there. ECP provides a filter mechanism
per project. If you click on "Filter Model Elements" (right click on a
project), you can select, which elements can be created within a
project. This filter is already pre set, when creating a project. As for
example, it will filter out all models, which are part of the Luna
Modeling Tools. Typically, this will show you only your model then.
This initial filter can be modified to let new projects always only
allow the elements you want.

Best regards

Jonas

Thanks, Jonas!

Adding the model.edit bundle actually helped.
