Hi all,

Previously, I used to run Birt 2.5.1 on eclipse platform 3.5.1 to generate Birt reports.
In order to use the .docx emitter to generate docx Birt report, I tried to upgrade to Birt 4.3.2 and run it on eclipse platform 4.3.2.

And according to http://www.eclipse.org/birt/documentation/integrating/viewer-usage.php#tags

I need to copy these jar files, coreapi.jar, modelapi, jar, viewerservlets.jar, engineapi.jar, and com.ibm.icu_version.jar from the Viewer libs directory to the new context/web-inf/lib directory.

4 of the jars are there but the problem is I could not find viewerservlets.jar in birt-runtime-osgi-4_3_2.

Is it ok for me to proceed and what are the possible jars I need to add?
Is there backward compatibility between Birt 2.5.1 and Birt 4.3.2?

viewerservlets.jar can be found at:

..\birt-runtime-osgi-4_3_2\WebViewerExample\WEB-INF\lib

Hope this helps.

Found it! Thanks.
However, it still does not work for me after copying them. Sad

What is your setup so I can attempt to reproduce your issue? You are trying to pull BIRT content into your app context with BIRT deployed separately? Let me know.
