I'm having problems getting the Eclipselink javadocs to work. The javadocs in the download zip for 2.5 doesn't have an index.html file in it. In addition, when I try to access the online ones at eclipselink.org, the pages don't render. The frames show up, but they're empty. I've done this using firefox 30 on Solaris 10. However, firefox on my Mac has the same problem. Safari works better, but the formatting of the pages is all wrong.
I've even tried generating the javadocs from source in NetBeans. It runs into character encoding problems and dies.
Is it just me? Or is there something fundamentally wrong with the EclipseLink javadocs? Since I'm unable to get the javadocs for any version of eclipselink (back to 2.1) to work from eclipse.org, I'm thinking maybe there's something wrong on my end. Still, I'm not using anything exotic to access them. I would think that such a widely used open source project wouldn't have this type of issue.
Also, the javadocs from eclipse.org used to work for me, but now they don't. Anyone have any clues on this? I really need to get at the documentation.
