Hi,

I am maintaining a Java servlet created in Eclipse (helios) and running on Tomcat 7. I have associated Tomcat as a server in Eclipse for debugging. The trouble I have is that in the Live version of the servlet which connects to databases using JNDI and I am able to debug this okay. However the Test version of the project, when debugging does not appear to be able to find the JNDI database connections. The Test instances JNDI database connections are set up in my local Tomcat's context file along with the Live instances' JNDI database connections.

What am I doing wrong? How do I resolve this please?

Thank you

AJF

You should post this question in the Eclipse web tools platform (eclipse
wtp) forum. You'll get more and better help there. I don't use JNDI to
find my database, so I can't advise you, but I'm pretty sure there are
guys there that will have that experience.

Best of luck.
