Hello,

When I try to add the plugins for Jemmy to my target definition file with the update site http://downloads.efxclipse.bestsolution.at/p2-repos/addons/nightly/site/, Eclipse's update manager cannot find this site.

I was able to download the plugins from the site (manually with browser) and to import them via a local directory, but that's only a quick fix (as I've read somewhere that Tycho building only supports update-site-added dependencies).

Any idea what I'm doing wrong ? The update site for the other efxclipse dependencies works fine...

Hi,

The url looks ok to me and I don't get an error. One note on Jemmy
stuff. To me it looks like the project is fairly dead and we should
think about moving to another more active one.

Another thing is that IIRC we have not yet updated it to latest
event-types so the JUnit-Test is blocked - I'm currently not investing
an resources because as said JemmyFX looks dead to me.

I'm thinking about TestFX https://github.com/TestFX/TestFX which would
probably allow us to ship from Eclipse.org because it has a much more
liberal license but i need to check first.

This would be a nice area for contributions: I suggest you look at
sources on how we integrated JemmyFX and try that with TestFX, we should
have at least have a bug so that we know that we have to do something in
this regard.

Yep - I'm talking about JUnit-Tests.

I don't think there's anything to do for us, I'd certainly take
contributions from the Jubula team if there's something they need but we
are not writing/maintaining integration layers ourselves for any
automatic UI-Testing Toolkit.

Okay, I'll give it a try. I won't be before the beginning of the month of november though, I've several deadlines for october.

P.S.

Just to close the topic : it seems my problems to connect to the Jemmy update site are due to a network problem : my collegue left to me can't access the update server either, for my collegue right to me there's no probleme whatsoever. I've asked IT support to check...
