I know this is experimental, and if that disqualifies the question, let me know and I'll go home.

So, reading this and doing some experimentation, this is my question:

Do you have to use Visual Studio, or can you do the JavaScript debugging in the Eclipse UI?

In my case, everything is on Win7 (32), Luna, Websphere 11g, IE 8. So client & server are both on the desktop.

One part of the solution is a web app, mostly jsp. There is Js to invoke an Active-x component (C++, ocx delivered via cab).

I am looking to stop execution in the js code. I realize that js executes client-side, but after reading the above page, I'm still not clear on it.
