Move Method Refactor Error? [message #251448] Sat, 16 February 2008 09:18

Hi. I am trying to use the Move refactor to move an instance method from
class A to class B. When I do this, I get an error messages that says:

"This method cannot be moved, since no possible targets have been found.
An instance method can be moved to source classes that are used as types
of its parameters or types of fields declared in the same class as the
method."

I am stumped trying to figure out what this means. Any insight would be
appreciated.

Thanks!

Ken
