RCPTT Jenkins integration [message #1420118]

Hi, I'm currently trying to integrate RCPTT into my project. I currently use Jenkins for continuous integration. Is it possible to integrate RCPTT automated test with Jenkins? If not will there be any sollution for this in the near future?

Hi Alin,

RCPTT is a testing tool that allows you to design tests and run them manually. There is commercial product Continuous Integration for RCPTT by Xored (http://ci.xored.com/) or you can use solutions from other vendors.

Hi Ivan,

do you have examples of the solutions from other vendors. Are there any non-commercial solutions to run RCPTT tests headless? I couldn't find any.

RCPTT Test Runner is Open Source now.
You can find more information here.
It can be downloaded from nightly builds.
Documentation is available here.

Hi Olga,

I was setting it up to use the new open source build of the Test Runner. Is there an online repository where that build can be retrieved by Jenkins instead of using the <explicit> tags for runner?

Unfortunately online repository isn't available now.
It will be added with the Mars release.

hi,

i am trying to run rcptt Test runner through jenkins,

i am using windows batch command in Jenkins to execute build, i see the AUT is not launched during script execution.

Is there any settings need to be done, to start AUT via jenkins ??

Hi Raghav,

Did you turn on Xvnc in your Jenkins job? You need that.

Did you try to use RCPTT Maven Plugin?
