How to migrate my customized perspectives [message #250126] Mon, 10 December 2007 02:55 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi all,
I do a lot of customizations on my eclipse perspectives and want to
migrate them between multiple installments. And for the sake of god
don't tell I should export/import preferences b/c it doesn't work and I
guess everybody knows this but still push it on threads :(
Thanks a zillion of times

PS: I use Eclipse 3.3

Probably more appropriate for eclipse.platform.

You would 1) save your perspective with a name and then 2) export/import
them.

If you are telling me that import does not import save perspectives,
please open a bug at
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Platform &component=UI

Later,
PW
