Hello,

I'm developing my programming language using Xtext and Xtend.

When I write program code written my language,Code generator of my Xtext project convert it to Java code, compile it, and show it's result on consoleview.

Buy when I write program code with error, code generator convert wrong code. And Java compiler print error code in Java language on consoleview.

I want to print error message of my program language code, not converted Java code when I compile it.

And I want to print line number of wrong code written in my language.

Is any reference that I solve this problem?

Thanks:D

Hi,

usually this is done differently.

you write semantic validation rules in YourDslValidator that ensures correctness of the program.
