Is there a way to hide context menu items for creating children elements in my model? I still want to keep these elements in the model, but don't want to add ability to add them from the context menu.

There is two ways.

First - select you features in genmodel editor, and in properties set 'create children' to false.
Second is to modify the generated EditorActionBarContributor.

Thanks Leonid, this is helpful.

I use EMF Parsley in my project and it has its own contributors that it uses with the model, so I need to to look into that in order to filter out unwanted menu items.

Regards,
Alex
