Another hour, another question by me Smile

I'm trying to make a setup where a custom workspace location rule is preselected. Ideally, the drop down choice wouldn't be shown at all.

The workspace location rule would be

${installation.location/foo}

so basically, one of the standard cases but with "foo" instead of "ws".
How can this be done?

I think (but haven't tested), that if you define a variable named
workspace.location, and set as you show below, that it would override
the induced variable and there be no need to apply the rule. I'm not
sure it would be saved properly in the user.setup, i.e., that you won't
end up with the expanded form and have all subsequent installations
share the same workspace...

This works perfectly, thank you!

Your worries seem to be unfounded, subsequent installations of other projects do not try to install with that rule.
