I have a view which doesn't allow multiple instance and it's opened into the editorss area by default in my perspective. Sometimes when I close/reopen/saveas the perspective (with no code in createInitialLayout, just the config from plugin.xml), the view is saved multiple times in e4xmi file, and after loading the perspective Eclipse shows multiple tabs of the view, but actually there is only one instance and ViewPart.createPartControl is only invoked once - if I close any of the tabs, ViewPart.dispose is triggered and the area insides tab becomes empty.

Is this a bug or is there some special rule about putting view into editor area? Other views in non-editor area never have the problem.
