Hi All,

I'd like to remove the "Cassandra Scripted Data Source" entry from the New Data Source Wizard in the BIRT Report Designer. I managed to do the same for jdbc and web service data source via the run configuration, but I can't seem to find a way to exclude the cassandra option. Does anyone have an idea how to do that?

Thank you very much!

Best regards,
Niko

It looks like that option might be more hard coded in than the others. You might have to make source changes to get it out of there. Here is the location of the data source wizard UI code:

...BIRTSource_Version_Release_BuildID\UI\org.eclipse.birt.report.designer.ui.data\src\org\eclipse\birt\report\designer\data\ui\datasource

Thank you very much for your response!
I'd prefer to rely on the official releases though. Do you know about any plans to remove that hard coding in a future BIRT version? I searched the eclipse bugzilla for similar entries, but it says there were "Zarro Boogs found!".

Kind regards,
Niko
