Sorry if this is extremely basic but I am completely new to the whole business intelligence thing. I am having trouble connecting to my MS SQL Server. I have tried both the com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver ( v4.0) and the net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.Driver ( v1.3) drivers and I can't seem to get either to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Typically you would use the JDBC driver that accompanies the software
from the vendor, in this case, Microsoft, but I haven't used SQL Server
from JDBC.

There is a separate Eclipse Data Tools Platform (DTP) forum in which
you're more likely to get help with this.
