RAP Folks,
together with Eclipse Luna, we've just released RAP 2.3. There are no
breaking changes compared to earlier 2.x versions, so unless you're
using internal API, migration from 2.x to 2.3 should be smooth.
Thanks to all of you who helped with this release!
For a complete list of features and bugfixes, please check the New and
Noteworthy page [1].
As always, the bundles are available in the Eclipse Luna repository, on
our download page [2], and on Maven Central. RAP 2.3-compatible versions
of the incubator projects can be found on the RAP Incubator page [3].
We'll provide two service releases, 2.3.1 later this year, and 2.3.2 in
early 2015.
While I write this, we're already working on RAP 3.0, which is going to
be released this winter. With this next major version, we're removing
all deprecated API and we'll discontinue support for IE7 and IE8 and
other aged browser versions in order to focus on modern HTML5/CSS3 based
features.
