Hi,

I stumbled upon the "categorization" feature in the view model editor today, but I could not find any documentation for it. I created a small example with some composite and leaf categories, which showed up nicely in the form preview, but I kept wondering about the use case for this feature.

I'd appreciate if someone could provide a short explanation. Smile

Thanks,
Uwe

Hi,

the use case is to categorize attributes within the UI, which is
especially useful, if you have a rather complex entity with several sub
entities. The default renderer creates a tree master detail view. The
default renderer also allows to render categories as tabs, if you set
the main category depth to something bigger than 0.

Best Regards

Jonas
