Hi,

I've just started using Mylyn and it seems to be working fine most of
the time, except for the problems view. When I enable the "Focus on
Active Task" button in the problems view, every warning in the view
disappears (errors are still visible though). Is this desired behavior?
Personally, I would like the problems view to only show warnings/errors
from the active task's context. Furthermore, if I restart Eclipse, the
"Focus on Active Task" buttons in some of the views are no longer
enabled (e.g. Outline, Problems).

/Joakim

Your expectations are correct. In other words, if you activate a new
task, keep the Focus off the Problems view, then navigate to a problem
causing it to open in the editor, and then Focus the Problems view, you
should see the single problem that you clicked on and no others. If
that's not the case please report a bug and make sure to include the
grouping mode that you're using on the Problems view (check via the view
menu).

Regarding the automatic applying of Focus on startup for the non
navigator views (e.g. Project and Package Explorer), we don't currently
support that in part due to technical complications, but it is a very
reasonable request so if you would like to see it please file a bug.
