Open diagram impractical with new WrappingLabel [message #235820] Thu, 09 July 2009 14:32

I need some help with the new WrappingLabel. Since upgrading to Ganymede
and GMF 2.1 my "open sub-diagram on double-click" behaviour is rather
inaccessible because the label inside my *EditPart seems to take up all
space inside its parent figure.

I debugged it and confirmed that an open request (REQ_OPEN) was in fact
sent to the *NameEditPart instead of its parent (which could have
understood the open request and opened a new diagram). Only if I click on
the border of the *EditPart, the OpenDiagramPolicy is executed. A simple
double-click simply selects the *NameEditPart (no resize controls shown).

So my question is: how can I control the default size of this inner label
edit part? I would prefer a setting in my .gmfgraph or .gmfmap. but
overriding the editparts would also be fine. Any pointers welcome...
Thx
