GMF install failure with Europa [message #234031]

I'm trying to install GMF using the latest Europa release. Using the discovery site, I select GMF, press the "select required" button, and press finish. The plugins begin to install, get about half-way through (according to the progress bar) and then I receive an enigmatic "Problem Occurred: Update operation has failed" message. All I can do at that point is press OK and nothing is installed.

Has anyone else had problems installing GMF this way? Is there a log file somewhere that might have more information about the error? From the error message I can't tell if this problem is with the remote discovery site or an internal Eclipse error. Any help is appreciated.
