Hi There

EMFStore along with ECP looks great. But i was wondering how can i use
EMFStore to share a project from my workspace. For e.g. in ECP you have
an experimental provider for Eclipse Workspace. Now after having created
the model instance in Eclipse Workspace, i would want to be able to
share on EMFStore which is currently i suppose not possible.

Or the other question would be, i have a project in Project Explorer and
that contains a model instance that i have created. I am not using ECP.
Now i would want to share this model instance on EMFStore. How can i
achieve that.

I had a look at the EMFStore API, but what i understand is that EMFStore
has its own workspace and stores things inside that. Therefore does that
mean at the moment projects or files created EMFStore workspace alone
can we shared using EMFStore and not from Eclipse Workspace.

Regards
Malai

Hi,

at the moment, there is no direct menu item, to share projects from the
Eclipse Workspace with EMFStore. However, it would be fairly simple to
create such an action using the ECP API, i.e. creating a new EMF Store
project and copying the contents of the former workspace project. I
would not leave the project in the workspace, though, as this would
allow manually changes on the file, e.g. using a text editor. This would
corrupt the change tracking then.

Best regards

Jonas
