Can you help me with the tools which I need for a quick and easy web
applications creating. I try iceFaces but still don't have a nice
insert/edit table for database data, while I try MS Visual studio express
edition and you got that with the few clicks.

Don't correct me wrong, I like Eclipse, java alltogether on Ubuntu, but I
must said that when I saw the inuitive of Visual studio, C# and
everythingYouNeedIsHere I regret why I need a lots of time just to find some
usufull component which came in NETframework, by default.

Mario,
Reading your question I immediately said to myself that I was going to
be very interested in hearing the responses to it. And I still am.
I'll just say that if you don't mind limiting yourself to a single,
expensive platform with few choices for your customers, then by all
means use C#/.NET, and especially if you're the only one that's ever
going to use it.
I am attracted by the "open" aspect of Java, though I don't also believe
that is a reason to suffer. I do hope that my community will continue to
improve things.
Best regards,

I'm also attracted with the "open", linux stability, Eclipse stability, but
you must understand that I, as beginner, wish to be constructive with the
critics. I would like it to someone make a tutorial or Eclipse
everythingYouNeedIsHere version for students and hobist. That is stilling
Microsoft idea, like MS was stilled Java and created C#.
Few years ago, when I wrote my first standalone application, I think that it
will be a lots of java standalone applications on linux, you must admit that
it is not a case if you use Ubuntu for example.
p.s.
Concreete problem:
I tried iceFaces and Apache Trinidad looking for a DataTable for my Web
application through I can insert/edit/delete my Derby database data. I tried
to google: DataTable & jspx & ..... still nothing. Could you please show me
the easiest way to handle that.
