The shape example has hardcoded terminals displayed as part of the gate
figures. In my application I have done the same thing. Now however I
would like to include entries for the terminals in the outline view,
display a properties panel for the terminal when a terminal is selected in
the outline and/or when a terminal is selected on the canvas.

So to do this I need a model for the terminal and add instances as
children to the equivalent to the gate model, and create an editpart and
treeedit part? Is the figure I create for the terminal then part of the
'gate', draggable as a composite, and selectable on the canvas?
