When you extract the zip file contents to a location on your hard drive,
you're done; that *is* the installation. There is no installer to run. At
that point, running eclipse.exe should launch Eclipse.

If that is not working for you, make sure you read the note for Windows
users on the download page (which basically says "don't use the Windows
built-in unzip utility because it can't deal with long file names); and make
sure that you preserve folder structure, rather than unzipping everything
into one directory.

Thank you Walter for your response. I used WinZip to uncompress the files
but didn't chose "Use folder names". Once I did, the appropriate files
went to their respective directories. Thereafter, the application
executed successfully.
