Ganymede JEE doesn't seem to recognise JSP 2.1 Tag attributes [message #219137] Sat, 09 August 2008 20:36 Go to next message

I get warnings when using some <jsp:directive.attribute> attributes in
tag-file definitions.

The attributes in question have been defined in JSP 2.1, and weren't part
of JSP 2.0. For example, this is the case for "deferredValue" and
"deferredValueType". The tags are running properly, of course.

Is the JSP EL validator still based on the JSP 2.0 version, or do I miss a
setting somewhere in Eclipse? :)

You're correct, the JSP support in Ganymede is still at the JSP 2.0
level (in fact there are a couple of pieces missing due to time and
other limitations). There's no setting you're missing for 2.1.
