associate extension with eclipse [message #218718] Thu, 28 June 2007 19:36 Go to next message

Hello,

One question - How do I associate ".txt" [for example] extension with
Eclipse ?
I mean if I double click on a ".txt" file, Eclipse would open.
I tried manually but it does not work.
If I enter - "path to eclipse\eclipse.exe" "%1" - as the command for
"open" action, Eclipse is launched but no file is opened. If I try to open
another one I get an error that the workspace is already open.

Thanks.

This is currently not possible. Check bugzilla for the corresponding
feature request.
