Is it possible to generate an action for a toolbar button from the plugin
code.

Lets say if i want to change the state of a toggle button on the toolbar
from unchecked to checked when a certain event occurs from the code.

Is it possible if yes then where should i start to look or what route
should i take.

Any help will be gud.
