Hi.

I have a content edit part with color background:

protected IFigure createFigure() {
Figure f = new FreeformLayer();
f.setBorder(new MarginBorder(3));
f.setBackgroundColor(BGCOLOR);
f.setOpaque(true);
f.setLayoutManager(new FreeformLayout());
return f;
}

But with this background, the grid is not visible. If I setOpaque(false) then the grid is visible, but not the color background, so how can I turn both things visible?

The grid is currently at the bottom of the z-order. You would need to
override the ScalableRootEditPart#createScaledLayers and add the grid layer
at the end of the list to bring it to the top instead.
