Hi There,

You've probably seen me dipping in and out of the Buckminster mail lists
over the last few months as I got some build systems developed using the
technology. To pay back for all the help I've received, I'm going to be
spending some time working with the guys on the Buckminster team to
improve the processes of getting the product built and packaged.

I will be posting details on the eclipse wiki shortly to give some more
details on what I'll be doing. To begin with it, my main tasks will be:

* Automating build / test /packaging & deployment of current
Buckminster builds. There are some manual steps involved right now so
first round is to clean up this.
* Secondly, as somebody who has put together a few build systems based
on Buckminster, Thomas has asked if I we could capture some details on
the wiki outlining how I've structured things. So I'll be doing that next.
* I've seen some comments, and a bugzilla bug asking for better
headless packages for distribution so I was going to investigate this
and put a proposal out there.

That's my first cut list for now. As developers and users of Buckminster
what areas around the packaging & distribution of the product would you
like to see? Post here (or raise bugs in Bugzilla) and I will get to
triaging them and see if there's something I can do to help.

Warm Regards,
Adrian Skehill
