I have just started exploring Eclipse, but I one problem is preventing
my use of it. I have a CVSNT repository, that I use to store my code
when I am not working on it. But I am unable to access it from Eclipse.
I just get a rather cryptic message.

The server did not provide any additional information.

I have followed the procedures in
http://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/platform-cvs/r2.0/cvs-faq.htm l and
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/CVS_FAQ#How_do_I_configure _CVSNT_to_work_with_Eclipse.3F

whilst I am able to access the repository I have no access to it's
contents. The properties page of the repository in Eclipse shows a
password even though I haven't entered one. Deleting the password does
not make a difference as it is replace, where from I don't know.
As I haven't entered a password I find this suspicious.

Can anybody offer any reasons for this behaviour and a solution.

Ciao Ric
