I just installed Europa and created a C++ project and all the toolbars
disappeared. How do I get them back? All I have is the menu with File,
Edit, Refactor, etc. but no toolbars

Zachary,

Never having worked with the CDT project, I can only guess. Is it
possible that creating the C++ project turned to a new perspective and
you just need to use the tab on the upper right to turn back to a
different perspective?

Maybe, by accident, you hide the toolbar? Go to Window->Show Toolbar.

Hope this helps,

Well, somehow I got them back. I changed to Java Perspective, then they
appeared, then I changed back to C++ Perspective, and they stayed. Lucky
I tried this, I never program in Java so it's not normally something I
would do.

To answer your question, opening a C++ project does indeed switch to a new
perspective, but originally toolbars existed in that perspective. Then
when I switched to Debug perspective and came back to C++ perspective,
they were gone. Switching to Java then back to C++ seemed to fix it.
