Hello everybody,

I am designing a GEF editor. Now, in my EMF model, i have many classes.
Some classes which will have graphical representation uses other classes.

Should i create an edit part for every class though a class may not have
any graphical representation?
Or, should i create an edit parts only for a few classes which will have a
graphical representation.

I read in the "Red book" , "Create a edit part for every class".
So, i am confused when i should create an edit part and when not to?

Thank you very much
Best Regards
Shruthi

Here is a tutorial discussing that very idea. Look under "4.7) EditPart
or not EditPart?".

Great tutorial. It really got me on my feet in understanding a lot of GEF
concepts.
