Date Format [message #1273278] Wed, 19 March 2014 16:42 Go to next message

I've inserted a text block in my report header to display a date range.

<CENTER>
<VALUE-OF>params["StartDate"].value</VALUE-OF> to <VALUE-OF>params["EndDate"].value</VALUE-OF>
</CENTER>

I want the dates to display as Long Dates (with the month spelled out in full -- e.g., "January"), but they're displaying as Medium Dates (with the month abbreviated -- e.g., "Jan").

I've gone into Data Explorer > Report Parameters and selected my {} StartDate parameter. And I've set the format to display as a Long Date:
index.php/fa/17784/0/

Yet the result shows a Medium Date format:
index.php/fa/17785/0/

Might anyone have a suggestion? Thank you!

This is a question about BIRT, right? If so, there's a dedicated Eclipse
BIRT forum where you'll get a great deal more expertise than in this forum.

Best of luck.
