Hi,
Do eclipse have an internal compiler or does it use a JDK on the local
machine ?
I assume its internal as you never set the JDK location only the JRE.
If so then what level is it compiling to ? as in Java 1.4, Java 5 Java 6
etc.
How do you set this ?

And note that it can be overridden on a per-project basis if you want.
Right-click on an individual Project and choose Properties > Java Compiler.

Hope this helps,
Eric
