Dynamic Web Project nature disappears [message #206448] Mon, 07 January 2008 18:53

Hi.

I have the following problem, while using Dynamic Web Projects.

On a regular basis, after restarting Eclipse the "dynamic web project"
nature of my projects "disappear".
Meaning the little globe on the Project icon isn't displayed anymore and I
cannot publish the project to a server. I have noticed that this can
happen if changes are made to the .classpath file directly (e.g. to add
Maven style source and resources folders).

I cannot find a way to "re-enable" the project as a dynamic web project,
short of renaming the old project, creating a new one and copying all my
source code and resources to the new project. How can I overcome this
issue?

I am using WST 2.0.1 with Eclipse 3.3.1.

Thanks for any help with this frustrating problem.

Florian
