Create a diagram with a symbol as a root [message #204244] Tue, 02 September 2008 14:36 Go to next message

Hi

I want to create a diagram with some container EObject as diagram root.
Unfortunately ViewService.CreateDiagram() returns null if I specify my
container EObject which exists in the current diagram. I tried diagram
partitioning with the same type of diagram, but
ViewService.CreateDiagram() fails again. Probably I have to register
some classes somewhere. What should I do so that I can create a
sub-diagram for the child nodes of my edit part?

Thanks in advance,
Kalin

Hello Kalin,

Can you try generating "diagram partitioning" code?
