Hi,
I'm currently working with the gef example of the WYSIWYG editor. Doesnt
anyone know any documentation about it? I'm specifically interested in
information on the framework level. I know it employs the gef MVC pattern,
but I'd like to know the other parts to it ie. how it handles text
editing, creating different blocks, etc. ( esp. on a higher level than
code). Thanks.

I have an idea on what most parts do and their role in the framework. But
it would be better if someone shared their knowlegde on this editor too.
Thanks.

Please ask a more specific question. This is a complicated topic that is
introduced by an example with an overly-simplified model.
We are moving parts of the example into GEF for the 3.2 release.

Ok,
how would you be able to add or change the current container type without
hardcoding it in? I currently added a header type but had to hard code it
in the texteditor.java class. I'm thinking of adding a drop-down menu
where you can select if you want to use a paragraph, comment, import
declaration, etc.
