After searching for some status update and finding various old notes about Xtext on the Web, including indications that it is an itemis priority, and having heard from good source that Xtext on the Web would be released mid-year 2013, I am forced to wonder, what is the status of Xtext on the Web??

We (itemis) sell it together with consulting services.
It is not open source.

Interesting! After going to your Web site I still do not find mention of it. Can you please tell me what it might cost to provide a Web-based version of an existing Xtext language?

Yes, there is no "official" offer, as it's not really a product.
We basically know how to do it, and might reuse solutions we've
developed within the prototypes we did. But it really depends on the
concrete requirements you have, what architectural decisions make sense.

Please drop me a mail (sven dot efftinge at itemis dot de) if you are
interested in more information. We could also arrange a phone call to
discuss the options.

Best Regards,
Sven
