Hi
I am using eclipse with the MyEclipseIDE plug in.
How do I enable/disable automatic code formatting?
I have tried windows->prefs->java->formatting and I can see how to set the preferred format, but I
cant see how to make it happen automatically.
I still have to press right-click->source->format from the editor.
TIA - Adam

Adam,
I could be wrong, but I didn't think there was such a thing...

There are situations where you wouldn’t want this. Maybe you haven’t
come across one until now, but they will come.
That said, Ctrl+Shift+F is much faster than grabbing the mouse. (On
some platforms, Esc Ctrl+F will also work).

Hi,
I think by M5 it is possible to perform actions when saving.
Preferences --> Java --> Editor --> Save Actions.
There it is possible to activate actions like formatting the source,
organizing the imports, etc.
