Hello,

I use WTP 2.0.1 RC2 and I try to generate a Web Service Client from a WSDL.
I use the Create Web Service Client wizard and I want to generate the
classes in an EJB 3.0 project. The EJB project is targeted to the GlassFish
V2 server and referenced from an EAR 5 project, that is also targeted to the
GlassFish V2 server.

In the wizard, I choose the Apache Axis runtime. My problem is that I am not
allowed to select the EJB project as Client project. I can choose from Web,
Java or Utility projects, but not an EJB project.

Is this intentionally and why?

Greetings,
Kaloyan

Hi Kaloyan,
This limitation is intentional, although I do not know the historical
reasons behind it. The extension point for Axis specifically supports
only the 3 project types you listed, but not EJB projects. If you would
like EJB projects supported, please open an RFE.

Thanks,
