thx, randy.

i haven't looked too hard into the question yet. but i have considered
working on good selection synchronization with GEF, but doing the UI in
JFace/SWT. instead of working on extending the GEF tree viewer.

i'll comment on the bug after i've taken a look at the two approaches.
