Eclipse cannot be opened... [message #1220824]

Hi everyone, I am new here. I just downloaded the C++ version of Eclipse for MacOSX and when I tried to open it i got the error message ""Eclipse" can't be opened because it's from an unidentified developer."

I downloaded from the link on the eclipse.org website so I am not sure why this would be the case.

I typed "MACOSX unidentified developer" in google and there were heaps of answers.

I don't understand why you think an OS specific question relating to Eclipse would be best posted in the CDT subforum
