Hello,
I prepeared test data in .xls file and tryed to convert it in Central Dataset.
But an error occurs:

There was an error reading the external data source D:\temp\Book1.xls.
Please check the documentation for restrictions on the supported formats.

According to avoid possible errors in data format, I create a very simple file with 4 cells filled with simple text data and tried to import it, but the same error is still reproduced. What's can be wrong?

Jubula: 7.1.0
Excell: 2013
File format: .xls (excell 97/2003)
All cells with data have a text format.
File is always closed at the time of import.
  • Attachment: Book1.xls
    (Size: 34.00KB, Downloaded 204 times)

Hi,

One thing that I noticed is that the sheet name isn't named according to the language. Check the docs for how the file has to be formatted.

Best regards,
Alex

Thank you, Alex,
I was lost sight a moment with naming sheets according language standard!
Import works excellent.
