Parameter dialog suddenly blank [solved] [message #1219591]

Hi

From yesterday to today when I preview my report, the "enter parameter" dialog is blank and nothing works.

any other is suffering the same strange behaviour.

i'm on windows 7.

Hi,

had the same issue. Currently checked last Windows Updates and removed Internet Explorer 11. Eclipse BIRT designer preview works fine now.

On Windows 7 I had to remove IE11 and then then the IE11 update around 12/10/13 (spefically says for Internet Explorer) also before the birt parameter page returned. To uninstall IE11, you must use "Turn Windows Features on and off" under "Uninstall a program"

I still can't get the dialog to work under Windows 8.1

So glad I found this post. I'm running BIRT 4.2 and this problem coincides with upgrading my Office license.
I tried adding the suggested parameters to the eclipse.ini file but it didn't have any effect (even after a restart).
Uninstalling IE11 has resolved the problem and my parameter dialog box now displays again Razz

On windows 7.
Removing IE 11 did not work for me.
Adding the lines suggested by Bruno Gonçalves to eclipse.ini did the trick.

I was getting the same error condition (Windows 7; IE 11) running the RCP BIRT 3.7.2 and there was no eclipse.ini. I put Bruno's suggested code in the BIRT.ini file and that solved the problem for me.
