OpenCV/JavaCV problem [message #1219191]

Here's my problem: for some reason, I can't convert my Mat variables to CvMat, and vice versa. Java documantation (and any other) say there is no problem wth this, but I get a "type mismatch" any time I try it. Did anybody had a similar problem or at least knows how to get rid of it?

I run Eclipse Kepler version on Windows XP, with OpenCV 2.4.7 and JavaCV 0.6 libraries.
