update an existing jar file to add new entries [message #1219075] Sat, 30 November 2013 23:20
Eclipse UserFriend
Are there any classes in org.eclipse.jdt.ui.jarpackager or some related package that would allow me to open a jar file I have previously written and add new files to it? I'm looking for the programmatic eclipse equivalent of the u (update) option in the command line jar tool. JarWriter3 will overwrite an existing jar, not add to it. Any suggestions? Thank you very much.
