How to make BIRT report in pdf format, kindly help. [message #197195]

Hi,
I have a problem in making the BIRT report in pdf format. I am
working on LINUX SuSe10.2 OS with the following version of softwares,
jdk1.5.0_11, eclipse3.2(BIRT2.1.2) with iText1.3.6.jar file in
plugins/com.lowagie.itext_1.3.0.v20070205-1728/lib directory.

I couldn't able to view the birt report in pdf format, when i
trying to do so, the eclipse crashes. And I end up with an error message
in hs_err_pid6033.log file format. But the Birt report works fine in html
format.
I searched the newsgroup archives, but it didn't work.
Please let me know what should i do to make the pdf work.
