I am using a book that has me use a class named "MyInput" to invoke
various methods to handle int's and doubles. I had to copy this class
from the cd and add it into my project. Now there has to be a method of
inputing data that does not require using a class off of a cd.

Please advise.

How do you want to obtain data? Through a text field on an SWT/Swing
dialog box? a field on a view inside the Eclipse workbench? Standard in?

Can you give a little more information about what it is that you're
trying to do?
